Sandra 'Sandy' Joane Dittmar

December 23, 1952 — June 22, 2025

Merrill

Sandra Joane Dittmar joined the love of her life, along with her beloved son in Heaven on June 22, 2025. Sandy was born on December 23, 1952, in Merrill to Honey and Harry Weber Jr. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and graduated from Merrill High School in 1971. She married Charles Harvey Dittmar on March 2, 1974, and held that immense love for him throughout the rest of her life.

Sandy and Chuck were known for their deep appreciation of nature and wildlife. They rescued multiple animals from the humane society throughout their lives and took daily drives through Council Grounds and along backcountry roads. After Chuck’s passing, Sandy lovingly carried on that tradition. Her most sought-after sightings were black bears or bald eagles—if either appeared, her joy was radiant and unmistakable.

Sandy spent many weekends at the family cottage on Lake Alexander with her parents, husband, and loved ones. In earlier years, she cherished annual weekends at the Bear Track Inn with family. She also enjoyed trips with Chuck smelt fishing on Lake Superior and tent camping at New Wood Park with their two children.

Sandy was known for her deep love of music—especially for The Beatles, and most of all, for Sir Paul McCartney. Anyone who knew her would say she was the biggest Beatles fan they’d ever met. One of the highlights of her life was when Chuck surprised her with tickets to see Paul McCartney live, a special moment she shared with her daughter and granddaughter.

Sandy was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. She especially loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and dance recitals. She was deeply proud to be an Air Force mom to her late son, Timmer. Known as a homemaker in every sense, Sandy created a warm and welcoming space—serving home-cooked meals around her kitchen table every morning, noon, and night.

Sandra is survived by her mother, Honey Weber; her daughter, Tiffany, and son-in-law, Robbie Lee; her granddaughter Elizabeth; grandsons Lucas (Madison) and Adam; expected great grandchild in October. She is also survived by her siblings: Shirley, Minnie (Bob), Scott (Cathy), Sarah (Dale), and Sheila (Kris); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Weber Jr.; her husband, Charles Harvey; and her son, Timothy Charles.

“In my life, I’ve loved you more.” xoxo
