Ronald Louis Randall

Feb 3, 1949 — May 5, 2026

Ronald (Ron) Louis Randall, a proud native of Gleason, Wisconsin, was born on February 3, 1949, to Edward and Audrey Randall. He passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with Ankylosing Spondylitis.

Ron graduated from Merrill High School and went on to build a life rooted in hard work and dedication as a blade operator in the road construction industry. He was a proud member of Local 139 and was well known for his skill as a grader operator, recognized for his precision and keen attention to detail.

Following his retirement, Ron continued to stay active by founding Randall’s Firewood business and grading roads for his township. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and fishing—always holding tight to his secret fishing spots. Ron was also a gifted storyteller, with a natural ability to fill a room with laughter and warmth. Above all, he was a devoted provider who would do anything for his family.

Ron shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dawn. He took great pride in being a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His love for his family was evident in every conversation—he spoke of them with immense pride and joy.

Those who knew Ron will remember him as strong, loyal, knowledgeable, and determined. He was deeply devoted to those in his inner circle and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Ron led an active life, whether working, hunting, fishing, or enjoying woodworking projects.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Dawn; his daughter, Jennifer (Aaron Christman) Prueser; and his son, Paul “PJ” Randall. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Melissa (Bobby Howard) Prueser, Stephanie (Joseph Crass) Prueser, Lisa (Oscar “OJ” Flores) Prueser, Mitchell (Malaki) Prueser, and Abigail (Joseph “JT” Rowley) Prueser; as well as his great-grandchildren: Eli Breunig Prueser, Elaina Breunig, Emma Crass, Phoenix Crass, Charlie Crass, Makenna Flores, Melody “MJ” Flores, Lillian (“Lilly”) Flores, and Malaki Prueser. He is also survived by his brother, Randy Randall.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Audrey Randall; his son, Carl Randall; his son-in-law, Gary Prueser; his grandson, Matthew Prueser; and his brothers, Gary and Gene Randall.
