Ronald Arthur Jaeger

Ronald Arthur Jaeger, age 86, of Merrill, passed away on July 11, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau.

He was born on January 14, 1940, in Pine River, son of Wilbert and Bernice (Billerbeck) Jaeger. He married Rosalie Baumann on November 21, 1987, at Grace Baptist Church in Irma, WI – she preceded him in death in 2025.

Ronald worked as a Granite Polisher for Anderson Brothers and Johnson and later for SEMCO prior to his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, Sheepshead and other card games, sports, spending time with his family and friends and listening to old country music. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ronald is survived by his children, Kevin (Tara) Jaeger, Bruce Jaeger, Kraig (RaDell) Jaeger, James Jaeger, Jamie (Daniel) Lemke, Paul Jaeger (Holly), Peggy (Joan) Jaeger, Joshua (Christina) Jaeger, Dawn (Allan) Lemke, Joseph Gleason, Jerry (Jesse) Duginski, Linda Goodman (Greg Baierl), Jason (Shannon) Duginski; siblings, Arthur (Joreen) Jaeger, Phillip Jaeger, Glen (Jackie) Jaeger; many grand and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

He is preceded in death by, his parents, Wilbert and Bernice; his first wife, DeJon LaMountain; his second wife, Mary Ann Jaeger; his third wife, Rosalie; son, Brian; brothers, Richard and William; sister-in-law, Connie Jaeger; stepson, Leon Duginski; grandchildren, Robert Goodman and Brandon Duginski.

The funeral service for Ronald will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral Home at 301 Eagle Drive, Merrill. Pastor Andy Perry will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service, also at the funeral home. Burial at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
