Richard Robert Michno

Richard Michno of Merrill, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on March 1, 2026. Born on February 14, 1965, in Westmont, Illinois, to parents, Richard and Bernadine Michno. 

Richard was known for his love of the outdoors. he also had a deep passion for rebuilding and working on classic cars. He enjoyed watching movies outside during the summer and cooking out. He worked as the manager of Hardees for 20 years. He also worked for O'Reilly's Auto Parts for five years, where he made many close friendships. 

Richard is survived by his wife, Lisa Rudis; son, Derek (Kaitlyn) Michno; daughter, Mikayla (Travis) Clark, and three grandchildren. Brother, Rob (Lisa Marie) Michno, and two nieces. Along with aunts and uncles and many friends. 

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bernadine Michno, and two grandchildren, Axel Clark and Angel Michno. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with close family and friends.
