Patricia Ann Renzelmann

Patricia Ann Renzelmann, 93, of Merrill, formerly of Rice Lake, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

Patricia was born February 4, 1931, in the Town of Oak Grove near Rice Lake to Harvey and Jeanette (Rogstad) Dorcey. She taught school at a one-room school in Rice Lake before moving to Minneapolis. While in Minneapolis, she met Joseph Renzelmann, and they were married on September 30, 1961. Joe preceded her in death in 1995. Patricia worked as an assistant in an insurance office and eventually became a homemaker. She loved tending to her flower gardens and reading.

Survivors include her son, Christopher (Heather) Renzelmann; grandchildren, Allie, Aubrey, and Joseph Renzelmann; sister, Mary (Norman) Pfeiffer; brothers, Roger Dorcey and Michael Dorcey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Harvey and Jeanette Dorcey; and brothers, Harvey Dorcey Jr., Jerry Dorcey, and Carlyle Dorcey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Rice Lake. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
