Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson, age 41, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 8, 2021.  He was born on June 13, 1979 to the late Richard and Terrie (Cortright) Nelson in Merrill, Wisconsin.

Michael was an excellent cook.  He loved playing the drums in a band, listening to music and fishing.

Michael is survived by his mother: Terrie Nelson, Merrill; father: Richard Nelson, Wausau, brother’s; Mark Nelson, Jeremy Nelson, children; River, Ciara, Melody, Zindell, Preston, grandmother: Judith Cortright, many other relatives, and best friend Rob Thompson.  Michael is preceded in death by grandparents; Robert & Rowena Nelson and Jerome Cortright.
