Marjorie Ann Radenz, 89, of Wausau, Wisconsin, was called to her heavenly home on September 3, 2026. She was born on April 19, 1937, in Merrill, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Henry and Katharine (Dorn) Czech.
Marjorie lived a life rich in faith, love and community. She was a dedicated secretary at Wausau Insurance/Liberty Insurance Company, where she made numerous lifelong friends. After retirement she continued to participate in the retiree lunch group with friends. As a member of Faith Lutheran Church, she started the "Cradle Roll" program. Her steadfast Christian faith and her church were very important to Marjorie. Her commitment to community service extended to her role as a poll worker.
On August 12, 1977, Marjorie was united in marriage to Lawrence Radenz, at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church in Rothschild, Wisconsin. Together, they shared a beautiful life until his passing on December 28, 2015. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished hosting family gatherings and holiday celebrations creating precious memories for her family.
Marjorie is survived by her children: Sara (Michael) Hrdina of Woodruff, WI; Julie Morici of New Berlin, WI; Tim (Sharon) Beilke of Amherst Junction, WI; Cheryl (Donald) Kobetsky of Baton Rouge, LA; Kay (Peter) Monteith of Murrieta, CA; and Thomas (Tracy) Radenz of Wausau, WI. She was also a proud grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Marjorie is survived by her brother, David (Barbara) Czech of Hamburg, WI, and sisters-in-law, Fran Czech of Wausau, WI; Beth Czech of Hamburg, WI; and Ellen Czech of Athens, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence, and siblings Gerald Czech, Richard Czech, Robert Czech, Marlene (Lloyd) Hamann.
The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to St. Croix Hospice and the staff at Pride TLC and Careview for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Merrill on September 14, 2026, at 10:00 am and the service to follow at 11:00 am. The Rev. Donald Love will officiate. Burial will take place in Faith Lutheran Cemetery – West, Town of Scott immediately following the service.
