Karen Hamsing

Karen S. Hamsing, age 61, of Merrill, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. She was born in Merrill on August 13, 1958 to the late Robert & Muriel (Hunt) Hamsing.

Karen grew up in Merrill, attending school in Merrill. She was a homemaker.  Karen enjoyed gardening, cooking and writing poetry.  She had a great love for music and her favorite was the doors.  Karen will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her children: John Garihee, Wausau, Tanya Muschinske, Tabitha McNeil, grandchildren: Stephen, Saivong & Emelyn Kust, Adriana, Garcia, Lyric Muschinske, Liam Mushinske, Elias Muschinske, Kaeden DeVore, TJ Zdroik, Ashley & Nick Kubisiak, brothers: Carl Hamsing & Greg Hamsing, sister: Mary Hamsing-Knoblock, and many other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Chad DeVore and nephew: Cory Knoblock .

A celebration of Karen’s Life will take place at a later date.
