John G. Wells

John Gaylord Wells, age 70, of Merrill, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his home.  He was born on January 24, 1955, to the late Victor J. and Shirley (Long) Wells, in Mauston, WI.  John attended and graduated from Mauston High School.

John is survived by his wife: Shari Wells, son: Josh (Kathy) Wells, with their children: Kennedy and Paige and sisters: Marion (Dennis) Coon and Beverly (Tom) Seager.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

per John's request, no services will be held.

The family wishes to thank the Aspirus Cancer Center, as well as Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services for their care and support that was shown to John and his family.
