Following his military service, he worked as a loom operator at Appleton Wire Works for 22 years. He proceeded to become a forklift operator for 13 years at United Foods. Then up until his retirement, he worked for six years at TSI as a loom operator.
John had a passion for hunting, fishing, and taking care of his tree farm. Getting together with his friends for Bible Study and going out to eat were very special to him.
