Jean Marion Robl

Jean Marion (Puphal) Robl, 71, unexpectedly left this world to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, August 20, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of the Merrill, WI, area. Jean was born on November 20, 1954, Merrill, WI, to Henry A. Puphal Sr, and Bernice M. (Leisman) Puphal.

In her early years, she grew a wonderful network of friends as a cook and as an avid pool player. Jean’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She never stopped bragging about them. Her passions included sharing her knowledge and faith, canning and baking, her guitar, singing and listening to music, watching nature from her patio, giving what she could to charities and providing for others.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Stephany (Corey) Kottke, Athens, and Trisha (Chris) McGee, Gleason, & her grandchildren, Mason Spransy, Grace Kottke, and Jenna Kottke. She is also survived by her siblings, Sally Boyd and Reuben (Darlene) Puphal and many neices and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bernice Puphal and Siblings: Lavern, James, Duane, & Henry Puphal, Gloria Trzebiatowski, Betty Boyd, Eileen Richards and Victoria Drost. She is also preceded in death by two nephews.

Jean will always be remembered as an amazing mother that loved unconditionally and impacted more lives than she knew. She never shied away from stating her beliefs and prayed for anyone and everyone. She remained courageous throughout life and flew straight when the storms were strong.

A private service will be held at a later date.
