Glen Backstrom

In glorious celebration of Glen Carl Backstrom (October 14, 1947 to June 23, 2016). Glen was born in Chicago and lived in the Merrill area before relocating to Elko, Nevada, where he passed due to a military-related condition. Glen leaves a multitude of friends and family across the globe and in the area, too numerous to mention herein. His ashes have been spread where he rejoins the spirits of departed family members. Those wishing to remember Glen in a special way are asked to donate to PBS or a veteran’s charity in his name. Our friendship began in 5th grade and will continue across the ages.
