Gayle Theresa Stevenson

Gayle Theresa Stevenson, passed away August 6, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on December 29, 1950, in Merrill, Wisconsin, to Alvin and Florence (Storm) Krueger. 

Gayle had an amazing laugh that could light up any room. She had an immense love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren that shown through in everything that she did. 

Gayle was an avid bowler and enjoyed creating a loving home for her family. Making memories while making pancakes and bacon for her family and even for the grand dogs. 

Gayle will be remembered for her incredible 20-year tenure as a manager for two separate apartment complex communities in Merrill, Hollywood Apartments and Riverside on the Green. 

Gayle is survived by her son, Dana (Melissa) Stevenson, and her daughter, Dara Stevenson. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Zak Stevenson, Sara Rajek, and Kinzie Stevenson, as well as her great-grandchildren, Lilly, John, and Asher. She is also survived by her siblings, Jim Kreuger, Jean (John) Smith, and Dan Kreuger, her nephew, Brett Dintelman, and niece, Darci Dintelman. Moreover, she will be missed by her "chosen" daughters, Lori Prescott-Hindman and Marsha Hanneman, along with her beloved grand dogs-Katana, Kovu, Chewy, and Freya. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Zoe Stevenson, and her brother Ron Kreuger. 

Gayle will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. 

In accordance with Gayle's wishes, no services will be held. Her family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
