Brenda Ann Pierschalla

Brenda Ann Pierschalla, age 76, of Irma, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on September 10, 1949, to the late Bennie and Joyce (Berna) Olson in Wausau, WI. Brenda attended and graduated from high school in Wausau, before furthering her education by taking some college courses. She married her high school sweetheart, John Pierschalla, on August 16, 1969 in Wausau, a loving union lasting almost 57 years. He survives.

Brenda was a licensed beautician and worked for most of her adult life in salons and retail, working her way up to being the regional manager in many of those places. She was an incredibly hard worker and very dedicated and loving to her family. Brenda and John raised Saint Bernards in their younger years and she would often help John sell Christmas trees. She owned and operated Uniforms Plus for many years, and had many accounts with the area healthcare offices and law enforcement agencies. Brenda had enjoyed her massive flower gardens and liked to help John in his vegetable gardens. She loved cats, especially her latest kitty, Elvira. Brenda is remembered by her family as a loving woman that had a strong will, and would give anything to help her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Brenda is survived by her husband: John Pierschalla, daughter: Jessica (Ryan) Maerz, son: Shawn (Heather) Pierschalla, with her daughter: Chloe, grandson: Jesse Pierschalla, granddaughters: Jonnie Pierschalla, Emilie (Casey) Schwab and Claire Maerz and sisters: Peggy Heil and Tammy Zastrow. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.

Per Brenda’s request, no formal services will be held.
