On Monday, July 13, 2026, Blake R. Mosher, age 22, passed away unexpectedly, leaving his family and friends to mourn his loss. Blake was born on May 8, 2004, to Tim and Lorraine (Spinhirne) Mosher, in Antigo, WI. The family moved to Wyoming in 2011, and returned to Merrill in 2016, where he attended Merrill High School. Blake worked at Geiss Meats and Northern Wire, both in Merrill, but most recently, he was a processing operator in the logging industry. Blake loved being outdoors, which made his job perfect for him. He looked forward to deer hunting all year, fishing in the summer and winter, swimming and camping. Blake loved his family and friends dearly, he was excited to go to Rockfest this year, as well as celebrating his parents’ anniversary next month and a trip to Vegas. He was a true “Mr. Fix-It”, he could tinker and work on most anything! Blake had a passion for racing, whether it was off-road racing or ice racing, he just loved being out there! He would also enjoy spending time with his brothers gaming and just hanging out, and taking trips to casinos to gamble. His family remembers him as a funny, smart and loving guy, that always had a prank or joke, and was easy to get along with. Blake was close with his family and friends, and although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.

Blake leaves behind his parents: Tim and Lorraine Mosher, siblings: Keith (Grace), Brooke (Corey) and Kyle Mosher, paternal grandparents: Barb and Lyle Mosher, uncles: Andy (Dana) Mosher, who were also Blake’s godparents, Jeff (Jodi) Mosher and James (Kristy) Spinhirne, aunts: Heather (Butch) Fleischmann, Rebecca (Craig) Sinnen and Lucy (Dave) Fraki. He is further survived by his girlfriend: Anna Westfall, many cousins and good friends, as well as his dog: Ryder. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Terry Spinhirne and Katherine Hulda.

A Celebration of Blake’s Life will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to thank all of those that have supported through this tragedy and the Aspirus Wausau Hospital for their efforts and care shown to Blake and his family, especially nurse, Emily. You love and kindness will never be forgotten.
