Arthur J. Drew, affectionately known as "Art," was born on January 12, 1937, in Gleason, Wisconsin to the late Charles and Blanche (Yanda) Drew. He passed away peacefully at his residence on April 19, 2025, surrounded by family.
Art dedicated his professional life to the automotive industry as an auto technician for Ford dealerships. His passion for cars not only defined his career but also significantly influenced his son, Joe, instilling in him a love for cars.
Art's commitment to family was profound. He married Nancy Ruth Bosi on January 13, 1962, and together they shared a beautiful 63-year journey. Every fall, the couple would take a drive along the Mississippi River to admire the breathtaking colors of nature—a tradition that brought them closer and created lasting memories.
Art served his country honorably in the Air Force as a radar technician for four years. His dedication and service to the nation reflected his character, adding depth to the appreciation those close to him had for his life. In his leisure time, Art found joy in simple pleasures—watching old westerns, reading a diverse array of books, and immersing himself in nature.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Nancy Drew, son: Joseph (Dianne) Drew, grandsons: Michael (Sarah) Drew, Christopher (Nicole) Drew, great grandchildren: Ryan, Amelia, Harrison, and Chloe, sisters: Janet Drew and Helen (Doug) Malueg and brother: Floyd (Beth) Drew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Roy Allen Drew, brothers: Dwaine Drew and Gordon Drew, and sister: Evelyn McKenna.
