Anton "Tony" Z. Ineichen

January 3, 1966 — December 15, 2025

Gleason

Anton “Tony” Z. Ineichen, just shy of his 60th birthday, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 15, 2025, at his home in Gleason. He was born on January 3, 1966 to the late Walter Sr. and Marie Ineichen in Switzerland. He attended Midway Grade School in Gleason and also attended school in Merrill . Tony grew up on the family farm, and worked hard with his brothers every day on that farm, whether that was in the fields or with the animals.

Tony was an outdoorsman, and spent most of his life working in the woods, whether it was logging, making firewood or just enjoying nature. Before that, he was employed with Marathon Electric for many years. He enjoyed helping friends and family with their projects, and even spent many hours helping Russ build his log cabin. In his younger years, Tony looked forward to tearing around on his 4-wheeler or snowmobile and would often work on them if need be. He was an avid Packer fan, and would regularly visit Marie and Russ on game days! Tony kept a very neat lawn and liked to work in his gardens. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, as well as cribbage. Tony’s family remembers him as a nice guy, that was always there to offer a helping hand and very dependable. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Tony is survived by his brothers: Walter (Mary), Frank (Bernie) and Albert, sisters: Marie (Russ) Zoellner, Verena (Jerry) Hull and Gloria (Roy) Castano. He is preceded in death by his parents, infant sister: Sonya and sister: Anna Ineichen.

A burial and celebration of life for Tony will be held at a later date.
