Alvin Pagel

Alvin O. Pagel, age 56, of Merrill, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at St.

Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield . Alvin was born July 7, 1953 in Merrill, the son

of Raymond and Opal (Robinson) Pagel.

Alvin worked as a health aide. He enjoyed playing cards, participating

on a bowling league and his involvement with Relay For Life. Alvin also liked

football. He had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church .

Survivors include 2 brothers: Edward (Germaine) Pagel of Minocqua , WI ,

and Lawrence (Janice) Pagel of Milwaukee, WI; 1 sister: Sharon (Ronald) Barritt

of Merrill , WI ; nephews: Ronald Barritt, Jr. of Las Vegas , NV , and Gary Pagel of

Menomonee Falls , WI ; niece Georgia (Scott) Gustafson of Young America , MN, great

nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law,

Harold (Mildred) Pagel, niece Rhonda Barritt, and great niece Veronica Beck.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church ,

Merrill , WI . Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church , Merrill,

WI. The Rev. Brian Stolarczyk will officiate. Burial will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery in Brookfield , Wisconsin . The Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.waidfuneral.com .
